She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Portante; her parents, Mary Talevi (Cordone) and Arnold P. Talevi; and her siblings, Grace Steadham, Pauline Damato, Joanne Liljedahl and Joseph Talevi.
She is survived by: her children, Tom and Ruth Brown; her son-in-law Karl Brown; her granddaughter Courtney Brown; her sister Molly Pascoe; and her sister-in-law Kathy Talevi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
