Ryoko Moody Obituary
We bid farewell to Ryoko Moody of Middletown, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Ryoko touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Wardell Moody; her daughter Shirley A. Moody; and her son-in-law Bashaun Brown. She is survived by: her children, Reginald L. Moody and Alicia Moody-Brown of Middletown; and her grandchildren, QuaTema Fountain (Cephas), Dennie Cherry, Sabrina McDaniel, ShaRhonda Cherry, Ashley Peterson, Marques Moody, Nisheena Bell (Jerry) and Brandon Peterson (Tanaisha). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cross Street AME Zion Church (440 West St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
