He was predeceased by: his wife Eara Jenkins (Bartell); his daughter Sonya Jenkins; and his siblings, Pearl, Susie Jenkins, Elijah, Nathaniel, Thomas, Jerry, Cordie, Allen and Johnny Jenkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elonda of Middletown, CT., Shirley of Middletown, CT., Sandraand Sharon Jenkins of Middletown, CT. and Vanessa Strickland; his sisters, Lizzie Mae Adams (Jenkins) of Middletown and Renetta Watson (Jenkins) of Charleston, SC.; his grandchildren, Jakeis, Pasha, Terelle, Equalla, Sharita, Mario, Shakena, Navida, Taryan, Travon, Michael and Bianca; and his friend Eddie Freeman. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews.
