She is survived by: her sons, Gary Steele of Middletown, Connecticut and Geoffrey Byrd of Middletown, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Gary Steele Jr., Shalisa Tyrese, Greg Steele Jr., Ty Sheik, Tonnie, Namir Walker, Raégan Byrd, Nayir, Jeremiah, Malayah Byrd Iyana, Josiah, Gavyn, Skye, Ozias, Sariah, King, Kashton and Kamyra; and her siblings, Barbara Roane (David Roane), Lorraine Reid, Shirley Jordan, Jacqueline Spievey-White, Michael Spievey (Shelia) and Linwood Spievey. She is also survived by her eleven great-grandchildren.
