She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Harris and Arlene Harris (Whitmore). She is survived by: her husband Richard S. Bright; her sons, Geoffrey H. Bright (Jill) of Plainville and Jonathan A. Bright (Tonya) of Coventry; her grandchildren, Hannah Bright, Nolan Bright and Jordan Bright; and her brother William "Kip" Harris (Mary Anne) of Middletown. She is also survived by five nephews and one niece.
