He is survived by: his wife Josephine Maugeri of Milford; his son Attorney Kevin P. Broughel (Attorney Alicia M.); his grandchildren, Sophia, Adeline and Theodore; his nieces and nephews, Tyler J. Hoxley (Maura) of Farmington, Scott W. Meehan of Snellville, Georgia., Kerry L. Pineau (Greg) of Old Saybrook, Emily Weckman (Bill) of West Hartford and Megan Fyffe (Matt) of Avon, CT.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Olivia, Julia, Spencer, Thomas and Sean; and his caregiver Bridgeport-Milford Hospital.
