He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Paternoster Flanagan; his parents, Shirley McCarthy Flanagan of Milford and John Flanagan; his children, Anthony Flanagan and Melissa Flanagan of Milford; his siblings, Kevin Flanagan of Milford and Mary Ellen Flanagan of Stratford; and his parents-in-law, Nicholas and Linda Paternoster of Milford. He was also cherished by five sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
