He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Petersen (Hamblin); his parents, Eugene and Claire Petersen, Sr. (Keegan); his sons, Andrew and Brian Petersen; and his brothers, Eugene Petersen, Jr. (Virginia) and William Petersen. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
