He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Bertilson (James), Judith Percival (Ian), Elise Groves and Ellen Paiva (John); his grandchildren, Alexander (Jackie) and Eleanor; his stepgrandchildren, Alex Paiva (Emily) and Jessica Paiva (Nancy); and his caregiver Erin Sullivan.
