He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gurge and Lillian Gurge; and his brothers, John and Michael Gurge. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gurge; his daughters, Christine Nichols (Jonathan Kinnie) and Cheryl Gurge (Erving Santana); his grandchildren, Taylor and Scott Nichols; his siblings, Susan Gurge, Richard Gurge (Norma) and Carol Streeto (Joe); and his brother-in-law Joseph Zutant (Susan). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
