He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte "Lottie" Mayne; his parents, James Mayne and Jane Mayne; and his sisters, Patsy Greeves, Ethna Rutherford and Chrissy Moley.
He is survived by: his children, James A. Mayne (Malissa) of Wallingford, Michael Mayne of West Haven and Karen Crego (Christopher) of Milford; his grandchildren, Nicholas Rushworth, Melissa Spilka (Benjamin), Dr. Riley Mayne and Ian Mayne (Kayli); his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Nicholas and Claire; his sisters-in-law, Josie Morris of Belfast and Bridie Hughes (Frankie) of Belfast, Ireland; and his caregivers, Elaine, Tamisha, Jennifer and James. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
