We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2026, at the age of 89, James W. O'Brien of Milford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette O'Brien (Haskins); his parents, Lawrence O'Brien and Mildred O'Brien (Munley); his siblings, Lawrence O'Brien and Bridget O'Brien; and his son-in-law Robert Riordan.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Riordan and Darrin O'Brien; his grandchildren, Danielle O'Brien, Joseph O'Brien, Ryan Riordan and Katherine Riordan; and his siblings, Patrick O'Brien, MaryLynne Larkin and Michael O'Brien (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anthony's Army 18 Cowles St. Milford, CT 06461.
