He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth; his sister Itziar Egurbide of Spain; his children, Jose Antonio, Jr., Edurne and Xavier; his grandchildren, Mikael, Kristen, Alex, Cristian, Lucas, Jakob, Gabriel, Olivia, Xavier, Kayla and Amelia; and his great grandchild Isla.
