We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 93, Kaj Gunnar Gartz of Milford, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gunnar Hansson and Heidi Gartz Hansson. He is survived by: his wife Angela Santa Lucia Gartz; and his children, Kaj Gartz (Tricia), Erik Gartz (Katie), Melissa Wade (Tom) of Easton, Peter Gartz (Lottie) of Sweden and Kent Gartz (Anneli) of Sweden. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kaj's memory to The American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
