She was predeceased by: her husband Harry R. Ackley, Sr.; her son Harry Ackley, Jr. (Randy); and her nephew Scott Della Torre. She is survived by: her parents, Eugene R. Dumas and Patricia Bleck Dumas; her children, Alicia Millington (Alfred) of Trumbull, Amy Conroy (Brian) of Sandy Hook, Edward Ackley (Aimee) of Porter Corners, NY and Sean Ackley of Tampa, FL.; her grandchildren, David Riley, Emelyn, Kendall Millington, Annabelle, Jack Conroy, Gabriela, Ian Ackley and Harry R. Ackley, III; her siblings, Rick Dumas, Kevin Dumas Sr. (Paula), Tom Dumas (Shari), Pamela Della Torre (Bob) and Joyce Pagano (Rich); her siblings-in-law, Christopher Ackley (Jill) and Rose Markoja; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin Dumas Jr. (Amanda), Patrick Dumas, Kylie Clark (Rusty), Matt, Zack Dumas, Steven Markoja (Jenn), Alysse, Mark Della Torre and Heather Pagano.
