She is survived by: her husband Michael Cody; her mother Dianna Falvey (Hoke); her children, Patrick and Margaret Cody; her siblings, Matthew Falvey, Sarah Falvey and Emily Falvey-Smith (Jeremy); her parents-in-law, Kevin and Chrystine Cody; her nieces and nephews, Taylor Zager (Ian) and Amanda Haldeman (Max); Fife. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

During the 2020 Covid crisis, despite multiple years away from bed-side nursing, Kathleen volunteered to return to St. Vincent's ICU to assist her nursing colleagues in caring for patients throughout this critical time.
