She was also cherished by many cousins, extended family, and friends.

“Many decades have passed since I visited Leona in Milford. So sorry for your loss. I was friends with Leona when she lived in E. Dedham.. One night we went to the Community Theater with Mary Frye to see Bill Haley's Rock Around the Clock. After the movie we danced and sang at the top of our lungs down Washington St. to Mary's house and then Leona and I talked and laughed our way home.. she was a special part of my teens My sincere condolences to you.”
