She is survived by : her husband Daniel Shields; her parents, Jose Flores and Juanna Flores; her children, Guadalupe, Nicholas, Nathan and Noah Shields; her sisters, Adriana Flores and Marlene Flores; and her sister-in-law Maribeth Shields. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and good friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Saint Mary Cemetery (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460).
