She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Susan Mansfield Byers. She is survived by: her husband John Phillips Sr.; her children, John Phillips Jr. (Vickie) of Hamden, Tom Phillips (Janet) of Orange, Tim Phillips (O'Connor) of Milford and Kathy Phillips-Kelley (Billy) of Shelton; her sister Margaret 'Peggy Maguire (Jack) of Brooklyn, NY.; and her grandchildren, William, Caitlyn Kelley, Rachel, Sarah, Jeremy Phillips, Christopher (Michelle), David Rangel, Brigitte Lopez (Chris), Kaelyn and Abi Phillips. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, much loved nieces and nephews, In-laws, dear friends, and of course Lucky, her grand dog.
