He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenovia Czubatyj and Lubomyr Czubatyj. He is survived by: his brother Andrew Czubatyj; his uncle Jerome Czubatyji; his children, Kathleen Amici (Christopher) and Stephen Czubatyj; his aunt Luba Shumyhora; and his cousins, Zenon Shumyhora (Susan), Raymond Shumyhora, Irene OSadcia (Paul), Lydia Frolian, Olga Davila and Christina Frolian.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pistey Funeral Home (2611 Main St, Stratford, CT 06615). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Holy Protection Ukrainian Catholic Church (457 Noble Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to either St Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 255 Barnum Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608 or Yale Smilow Children's Hospital, 35 Park St., New Haven, CT 06511.
