With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Gottsegen of Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Gottsegen and Ruth Gottsegen (Borgerson); his mother-in-law Blossom Manning; his nephew Patrick Gottsegen; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Gottsegen.
He is survived by: his wife Alison Gottsegen (Manning); his children, Alexis Gottsegen-Brown (Timothy Brown), Shawn Gottsegen (Jennifer), Ryan Gottsegen and Brett Gottsegen (Nora); his grandchildren, Zackary Brown, Taylar Gottsegen, Peyton Gottsegen, Hayden Gottsegen and Teagan Gottsegen; his brothers, Richard Gottsegen (Linda) and Cory Gottsegen; and his sister-in-law Michele Shelley (Jack). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
