He was predeceased by : his parents, Patsy Mucherino and Marie Rizzo Mucherino; and his sons, Nicholas Mucherino Jr. and Robert Mucherino. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Stella Mucherino; his daughter Sharon Masi (Gino Masi); and his grandson Justin Masi. He is also survived by two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
