Peter Mauritz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Mauritz of Milford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard Mauritz. He is survived by: his significant other Marie Diven; his children, Nick, Tim and Kaitlyn; his mother Nancy (Haushill); his daughters-in-law, Alina and Hadley; his grandchildren, Nicholas and Theo; and his parents-in-law, Monique, John Jacobs, Nicole, Scott Daly, Donald, Deb, Michael, Kim Mauritz, C. J. and Anna Diven. He is also survived by 11 Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family to support their efforts to establish the Peter D. Mauritz '81 Annual Memorial Scholarship at Bucknell University.
