He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Boynton and Eleanor Boynton; his sister Cissy Fanning; and his grandson Oliver McLean. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Boynton; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Tyler McLean; his grandson Everett McLean; his siblings, Patty Lussier (Gary) and David Boynton (Julia); and his brother-in-law Howard Fanning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
