It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Jerome Lukas of Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerome Lukas and Mildred Ann Lukas; his grandparents, Joseph and Anna Lukacovic; his wife Susan; his daughters, Kristin and Kathryn; his son-in-law Anthony Cocchia; his granddaughters, Kalyn and Kensye Cocchia; and also Bob. He was also cherished by son and helper to his parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made in Bob's memory to a charity Bob supported, such as the ASPCA or the Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
