He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mead and Lucille Mead; his sisters, Jill Mead Wheeler and Judi Mead Girard; and his wife Janet Mead.
He is survived by: his significant other Alcyne Welton; his stepson Patrick Welton; and his sister Heidi Mead. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
