He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Regan and Pauline Curtiss Regan; and his siblings, Pauline "Polly" Belinsky and James Regan. He is survived by : his sons, William J. Regan III of Shelton and Michael T. Regan (Katie) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Ian, Quinn and Penelope; his brother John Regan (Jacqueline Regan) of North Carolina; and his friends, Kim Morawski and Dorothy "Dede" Fitch.
