He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Ziebell and Mary Emily Ziebell (Grove-Brogie); his daughters, Carol Kyler and Evelyn Ziebell; and his siblings, Edmund Lewis, Evelyn Jordan, Patricia Deetz, Pearl Lorraine Post, Sandol Astrausky, Diana Lewis Ziebell Thompson, Sonny Thompson and Arthur Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Ziebell of Milford; his children, William Joseph Ziebell (Angie Ziebell), Marcellette Ziebell and John Ziebell (LeeAnn Ziebell); his grandchildren, Katharine Ziebell, Sage, Haven Ziebell, Ashley Massimo, Bobby Dale Hardy, Alicia Krieder, Emalee Alexander, Jonathan, Daniel, Joseph and Benjamin Ziebell; his great grandchildren, Noah, Ava Krieder, Luca and Estella Massimo; and his sisters, Wendy Griffin (George Griffin) and Margaret "Peggy" Manley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Gabriel's Church (Saint Raphael Parish) (26 Broadway, Milford, CT 06460). A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519).
