With sadness, we share the passing of Edith M. Cascio of Monroe, Connecticut. Edith, born on June 10, 1932, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Cascio; her parents, John Cortello and Concetta Cortello (Rizzo); and her siblings, Patricia Leonard, Sam Cortello, John Cortello Jr. and Robert Cortello.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Cascio (Gena) and Janet Cascio; her grandsons, Daniel Cascio (Melissa) and William Cascio (Catherine); her great grandchild Emmie; and her sister Lucy Duva.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Jude Church (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). An entombment was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (1056 Daniels Farm Rd, Trumbull, CT 06611).
