It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Duschang of Monroe, Connecticut, who passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Elaine Duschang to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schuchman and Sophie Schuchman; and her sister Louise Horniak (Andy). She is survived by: her husband David Duschang; her children, Michelle (Güney Özkan) of Istanbul, Turkey, John (Melissa Magbag) of Wyckoff and Mark (Elizabeth) of Pawtucket; her grandchildren, Cooper, Cole, Michael, Lilly and Peter; her siblings, Shirley Isleib (Jerry) of Monroe and Leonard Schuchman (Judy) of Fernandina Beach, Florida; and her sister-in-law Ruthann Stewart (Butch) of West Rotunda, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and favorite nephew.

Memorial donations can be made to the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth at Marion Heights at 1428 Monroe, CT 06468, continuing Elaine's legacy of support for the community she so dearly loved.
