Florence Seferi left this world on June 21, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As Florence Seferi departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Florence Seferi. Though Florence Seferi may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Seferi and Clanthi Christo Seferi; her husband Ronald Evanko; and her sister Helen Seferi Soter. She is survived by: her children, Dawn Evanko (Thomas DePeano), James Evanko (Colleen Bursey) and Diane Hotchkiss (Matthew Reale); her granddaughter Alexa Hotchkiss; and her siblings, Gloria Rubis, Norman Seferi (Helen) and Spiro Seferi (Karen). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Dimitrie Romanian Orthodox Church (504 Sport Hill Rd, Easton, CT 06612). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
