He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Betty Smith. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Franco; his daughters, Kelly Connelly (Rhett) and Casey Connolly (Christopher); his brother Bill Bennett; and his grandchildren, Kaden and Jase Connelly.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation in Gary's honor, supporting veterans and first responders in need.
