Olimpia Melchionno Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olimpia Melchionno of Monroe, Connecticut, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vitantonio Boccuzzi and Domenica Boccuzzi; and her siblings, Concetta Coppola, Mariantonia DiBlasi, Quintio Boccuzzi and Elio Boccuzzi.
She is survived by: her spouse Bartolomeo Melchionno; her son Augustus (Tina); her grandsons, Marcus and Christopher; her son Frank (Terri); her grandsons, Scott (Ashleigh) and Sean (Jen Daltorio); her son Peter (Jennifer Klein); her grandchild McKayla; and her brother Sabino Boccuzzi (Denise). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Jude Church (707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the St. John the Baptist Cemetery (500 Moose Hill Rd, Monroe, CT 06468).
