He is survived by: his wife Elaine Manasevit of Bridgeport; his children, Dorian (Sander Lurie) of Washington, DC, Amanda (Jonathan Cohen) of Parkland, FL and James (Alison Needle) of New York City; his grandchildren, Mara Lurie, Madeline Cohen, William Friedman and Jack Friedman; his siblings, Mark Friedman and Eunice Silverman; his nieces, Rita Gelman, Sandra Friedman, Nedra Friedman and Sharon Hirshik; his nephew Richard Golden; his caregivers, Bob, Michael Antwi, Christopher Harvey and Yomara Contreras; Veronica Tracey.
