With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Alan Bassett of Monroe, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stanziale and L. Bernice Stanziale (Bousquet); his son Ronald Bassett, Jr.; his grandson Jordan Bassett; and his brothers, Dana and Sean Stanziale.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bassett (Ciotti); his children, Kevin (Melissa Bassett), Craig (Grace Bassett), Karen (Michael O'Hearn) and Kurt (Robin Bassett); his daughter-in-law Dawn Guarino; his grandchildren, Jarrett, Dalton, Landon, Jensen Bassett, Gabrielle Dukes (Jamie), Mallory Robbins (Brad), Haley, Ethan Bassett and Kendal O'Hearn; his great grandchild Roy Dukes; and his sister Sharon Atkas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher Funeral Home (315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, CT 06468).
