She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll; her husband James Joseph Gaffney II; her sons, James Gaffney, III (Jimmy) and Robert Gaffney (Bobby); and her sisters, Joanne Schulz and Patricia Carroll.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Gaffney and Janet Hames; her son-in-law Jody Hames; her sister Elizabeth; her siblings-in-law, James Ledeoux and Judith Kolt; and her grandchildren, Bobby Gaffney and Katy Gaffney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Monroe Congregational Church (34 Church St, Monroe, CT 06468).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
