He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Meachen (Gregorio); his parents, Walter R. Meachen, Sr. and Julia Meachen (Plasco); his daughter Pamela Bonazzo (Joseph Bonazzo); his grandson Christopher Bonazzo; and his sister Ruth Kunkel.
He is survived by: his sons, Dan Meachen (Mary McConnell-Meachen) and Christopher Meachen; his grandchildren, Lauren Camarda (Chris), Sarah Ford (Mike), Matthew Meachen (Ariana), Alexa Lopiano (Ethan), Sara and Elena Meachen; his great grandchildren, Adrien, Luca Camarda, Jack and Sam Ford; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Meachen; and his close friend Ernesto Araza. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
