She was predeceased by: her husband Gary W. Hammond; her parents, DeVere H. Lathers and Oramay Lathers (Sweet); her sons, Dale M. and Glenn S. Hammond; her siblings, DeVere S. and Virginia M. Lathers; and her grandson Connor Hammond.
She is survived by: her son Clifford Hammond (Marilyn) of East Hampton, CT; her daughter-in-law Liana Hammond of Columbia, CT; her grandchildren, Ryan Hammond (Julie Shea), Shannon Hammond Irace (Ken), Patrick Hammond (Shannon), David Hammond (Kelsey), Dana Chieka (Bob) and Bailey Hammond; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Myles, Colton, Charlotte, Walker, Camden, Graham, Rhett, Nora and Sawyer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Avenue Cemetery.
