Twombly (Elsa Languasco), Emilia Gail of Ave Maria, Florida and Michelle Courtroul (Jaime); his grandchild Kaya of Aptos, California.; his siblings, Leon C. Twombly (Mary), John W. Twombly (Susan) and Elizabeth Wilson (Art Thornton); his stepsons, Charles D. DeLeo and Samuel B. DeLeo; and his pets, Leon and PeteyGene.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
