He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustaf (Eleanor Carvelli) and NJ; and his sisters, Grace Andrews and Sigrid Bott. He is survived by: his wife Amy; his children, Dana (Scott Leach), Gail (Nick Johnson) and Chip (Heather Carvell); and his grandchildren, Connor, Ryan Leach, Ellie, Ben Johnson, Gus and Vaughn Carvell.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made either to the StoneRidge Scholarship Fund, so that others can more easily gain the benefits of higher education, or to the New England Air Museum where he volunteered as a docent for many years.
