He was predeceased by: his brother William Cook Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Deann Ellison; his children, Jessica Murphy Farrell and Ted E. Murphy (Edward); his children-in-law, Marci Murphy and Ken Farrell; his grandchildren, Nicole Murphy Pappas, Skylar Murphy Demeulenaere, Daniel H. Murphy III, Michaela Jane Farrell, John Murphy Farrell, Ellison Ann Farrell and Tucker Davis Farrell; his siblings, Mary Ellen Murphy Linton, Robert Henry Murphy, Nancy Jane Murphy Conley, John Cook Murphy and Margaret Murphy Orchardo; and his siblings-in-law, George Linton, Janet Thurman Murphy, Carol Wills Murphy, John Conley, Virginia DeuPree Murphy, Joseph Orchardo, Sharon, Stephen Johnson and John Garey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 5 siblings, 25 nieces and nephews, and 43 grandnieces and nephews.
