It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Mitchell Sr. of Mystic, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Mitchell and Mary Mitchell (Rodreigues); his wife Marge Mitchell; and his siblings, Dorothy Turbak and Joseph Mitchell.

He is survived by : his children, Karen Caras, Kim Gouvin (Mike), Kathy Dean (Rob), Todd (Yomaira) and Eddy Jr.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, numerous Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
