He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Connie" Grant (Ciminillo); and his parents, Roy Grant and Hilda Grant (Stafford). He is survived by: his children, Marie Martin (Ron) and Duane Grant; his grandchildren, Captain Jason Tippett (Kara), Jakob Tippett (Crystal) of Simpsonville, SC, Troy Martin Barrington, Kathrine Grant-Tancredi (Geoffery) and John Tessier; and his great grandchildren, Victoria, Luke, Zachary, Noah, Hadley and Tanner Tippett.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Old Mystic United Methodist Church (44 Main St, Old Mystic, CT 06372).
