She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles Delafield and Helen Delafield; her former life partner Cornelius "Nick" Smith; her husband Fred Allyn Jr.; her stepchildren, Courtenay and Fred III; her granddaughter Caroline MacLachlan; her stepdaughter Alexandra Osterman; her sister Eleanor Everett (late Nick Smith); and also Charles MacLachlan.
