With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joshua Sylvester of Mystic, Connecticut, born in New London, Connecticut, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 41. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joshua Sylvester to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jean, Andrew Gasper of Andover, June, Chet Worski of Lebanon and Anthony Sylvester of Hebron; and his uncles, Andrew Gasper and Douglas Griswold of Andover.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Sylvester and Marylin Sylvester of Colchester; his brother Zach Sylvester; his sister-in-law Karen of Lebanon; his sister Andrea Sylvester-Parkinson; his brother-in-law Matthew of Columbia; his nephews, Logan Sylvester, Blake Sylvester and Denver Parkinson; his significant other Andrea Drakos of Mystic; Pearl.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home (167 Old Hartford Rd, Colchester, CT 06415).
