He is survived by: his granddaughter Dagmar Getter (Nelson); his children, Keith Getter (Nancy), Craig Getter (Pamela) and Barbara Walsh (Robert); his grandchildren, Matthew Worley, Brandon Getter, Kathryn Getter and Sarah Getter; and his sister Nancy Hayden.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Voluntown Baptist Church (52 Main St, Voluntown, CT 06384).
