She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Barnard and Marion Barnard (Jennings); her husband Ralph C. Evans Sr.; her children, Linda Susan Evans and Ralph C. Evans Jr.; and her siblings, Harold Barnard of Westerly, RI and Dorothy Jones of Stonington.

She is survived by : her daughters, Pamela Slocum (Evans) of Pawcatuck and Cindy Evans of Mystic; and her grandchildren, Robert Cochran (Angela) of Gales Ferry, Cliff Cochran of Uncasville, Mandy Crispim (Alexandre) of Groton and Noel Hill (Britni) of Preston. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark's Church, to the ASPCA or the American Cancer Society.
