He is survived by: his daughter Alison Girard (Josh); his wife Mary; his son-in-law Josh Girard; his grandson Connor; his siblings, Paul Smyth (Penny), Pete Smyth (Cherry), Ann Grimes (Tom), Liz Harrington, Noreen Travis (Mark) and Shonah Drakos (Peter); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Hewes (Beth), John Hewes (Kathy) and Matt Hewes (Shari). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
