It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amandio N. Alves Sr. of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joaquim and Carmo Alves (Nunes). He is survived by : his spouse Conceicao Alves (Teixeira); his children, Amandio N. Alves, Jr. of Naugatuck, Jennifer Jardim of Cheshire and Sarah Piech (Alex) of Frisco, TX; his grandchildren, Alexya, Brayden, Emma, Ava, Nash and Noah; and his siblings, Isabel Marques, Theresa Lopes of Florida, Jose Alves of Naugatuck and Helena Alves of Guilford. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and friends.
