It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Amodio of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Amodio and Carmella Amodio (Tripaldi); his siblings, Louis Amodio, Mary A. Smith, Anna A. Rein, Salvatore Amodio, Vincent Amodio and Carmella A. Murphy; and his close friend Manuel "Manny" Alberta.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lucille Velez-Escobar of Mexico and Yolanda Klimas of Naugatuck; his sister-in-law Nancy Moody (Amodio); his close friends, Louie and Joann Dubay; and his caregivers, Tony, Justine, Ana, Regina and Ellen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
